Is AccuWeb Hosting a good web host?
A transparent one, on paper. AccuWeb’s Linux hosting page prints the numbers that decide how a shared account behaves (guaranteed RAM and vCPU, IOPS, inodes, monthly visits) and the renewal price of every term, which is rare. Its entry plan is the honest one: $2.79 a month on three years and $2.79 when the term ends. Daily backups, a migration, eight locations and a 99.9 percent SLA with credits come with every plan. What it lacks is current evidence: the only dated measurement in our source list is a 7-day TechRadar window from late 2023. Everything below is a published fact we checked on 14 October 2026 or a gap we name.
What do you get on each plan?

Bootstrap++ hosts 100 websites on 25 GB of SSD storage with 750 GB of monthly bandwidth, 1 GB of RAM and one vCPU guaranteed, 150 email accounts, 10 MySQL databases, 1,024 IOPS, 200,000 inodes and a stated ceiling of 100,000 monthly visits. Premium++ lifts that to unlimited websites, 75 GB, 1 TB, 1.5 GB of RAM with two vCPU, 500 email accounts, unlimited databases and 250,000 visits, and adds a free CDN enabled on request. Enterprise Pro++ gives 100 GB, 1.5 TB, 2 GB of RAM with two vCPU, 300,000 inodes and 500,000 visits, plus a premium SSL and a dedicated IP for the first year on annual or longer terms outside Johannesburg. Its card says 1,000 email accounts; the comparison table on the same page says 500. All three plans include cPanel, LiteSpeed with caching, PHP 8.1 to 8.4, Let’s Encrypt SSL, free daily backups with any day restored on request, a free migration, a 400-app installer, DDoS protection, spam filtering and a free domain for the first year on annual or longer terms. The data center page states AMD EPYC processors and up to 256 GB of ECC memory per server.

The order form sells 1, 12 and 36-month terms. Bootstrap++ costs $5.79, $3.79 or $2.79 a month by term and renews at the same price each time, which is what the card’s “Renews at the same price” badge means. Premium++ costs $8.99, $5.99 or $3.99 and renews at $14.99, $12.49 or $9.99. Enterprise Pro++ costs $10.99, $7.99 or $5.99 and renews at $18.99, $15.49 or $13.99. The renewal line under each card is written by the page script, so a reader with scripts blocked sees only the sign-up price and a Save badge. The terms add that a discount for prepayment is forfeited if you leave early.
Three-year cost on the entry plan
| Route | Years 1 to 3 |
|---|---|
| 36 months up front | $100.44 |
| 12 months, renewed twice | $45.48 × 3 = $136.44 |
| Month to month | $5.79 × 36 = $208.44 |
How do refunds work?
The terms of service call it a satisfaction guarantee: Linux shared, Windows shared, reseller and CDN services may be terminated without penalty or charge within thirty days of the service’s effective date, VPS and private cloud within seven. Fees are otherwise non-refundable, set-up fees are excluded for any reason, and third-party products (domain registrations, Plesk and cPanel licences) are outside the guarantee. Every service renews for the same term unless cancelled; the plan cards say “Cancel anytime”.
What is the infrastructure?
The Linux hosting order form offers eight locations: Denver (the default), Dallas, London, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney. The data centers page lists seven web hosting sites with a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification each (Johannesburg appears in the order form but not on that page) and does not name the operators. Shared servers run LiteSpeed on cPanel with AMD EPYC processors, ECC memory, 1 Gbps connectivity and the guaranteed RAM and vCPU printed per plan. The terms promise 99.9 percent availability each monthly billing cycle for services AccuWeb fully controls, with a credit of one day of service at 97 to 99 percent, two days at 95 to 96.99 and five days at 90 to 94.99.
How fast and reliable is it?
TechRadar’s Mike Williams, in a review dated 26 November 2023, signed up for a basic shared account, uploaded a simple site and checked it with Uptime.com every five minutes for seven days, more than 2,000 checks: 100 percent uptime with no outages, an average response of 285 ms (289 ms in the previous review), readings from 248 to 485 ms with most between 250 and 300 ms. The plan it tested was sold as Personal at $3.09 on three years, a line-up AccuWeb has since replaced, and the server location is not stated.
We found no WPBeginner, HostScore, HostingStep, Cybernews or Kripesh Adwani review of AccuWeb Hosting. Read as it stands: one clean week on an older plan, three years ago, and nothing on load.
How good is the support?
Live chat, tickets and phone. The hosting page claims 24/7 human support with first responses under 11 minutes on every channel; the contact page lists a US number and a UK number with service hours of 24 hours Monday to Saturday, a ticket desk, chat, a community forum and a knowledge base. TechRadar found the chat “generally helpful” in 2023. HostIdea has not timed a ticket yet; the support table on this page fills when we do.
Who owns AccuWeb Hosting, and where is it?
Vaghasia Group, Inc. trades as AccuWebHosting according to the terms of service, with headquarters at 48 Bi-State Plaza in Old Tappan, New Jersey, and a payments address in Norwood, per the contact page. The about page counts more than 23 years in hosting and the copyright line runs from 2003. The pages we read give no owner names or customer count beyond “100k+ businesses”.
What is missing or unclear?
- The operators of the eight data centers; the page gives codes and certifications only.
- Whether Enterprise Pro++ includes 500 or 1,000 email accounts; the card and the table disagree.
- Which domain extensions the free domain covers; the cards and the table list different sets.
- Any measurement newer than 2023, by anyone.
- HostIdea’s own monitoring, support timing and load testing have not started.
Who should choose AccuWeb Hosting, and who should wait?
Choose it if you want a cheap plan that stays cheap, guaranteed resources instead of “unlimited” promises, and a server near visitors in one of its eight cities. Bootstrap++ on 36 months is the plan to buy; the 12-month term costs a dollar more a month without the renewal risk the upper plans carry.
Wait if speed data decides your choice, or if you need Premium++ and want its price to hold. HostArmada prints its resources with a 365-day independent record; InterServer sells a flat $7 monthly plan with no renewal jump at all.
How we scored this review
The scores on this page are provisional, and more so than for hosts with recent measurements. Performance rests on TechRadar’s 2023 average and the guaranteed resources. Uptime reflects one 7-day window and the contractual 99.9 percent with credits. Features credit the resources, locations, daily backups, migration and CDN, and deduct for no staging and the inconsistent page details. Value credits an entry plan that renews at its sign-up price and deducts for the upper plans’ jump. Support reflects three channels with a stated goal, not timed tickets. Each score will be recomputed when data exists, and the review history on this page will show the change.
