Is Verpex a good web host?
On paper, yes; on evidence, not yet. Verpex publishes the things a careful buyer wants to see: CPU and RAM per plan, process and I/O limits, nine named locations, daily backups and a free domain, plus every price for every billing cycle through the checkout its page calls. What it lacks is a track record anyone has measured: the one dated independent test is from 2023 and omits its method, and the host’s own uptime promise reads differently on the plan page and in the terms. Everything below is a published fact we checked on 14 October 2026 or a gap we name.
What do you get on each plan?

All three plans run cPanel on CloudLinux with CageFS, LiteSpeed Web Server, NVMe storage, Softaculous, the SitePad builder, Backuply for daily backups, Monarx malware protection, WP-CLI, free SSL, unlimited email accounts, databases, aliases and inodes, unmetered bandwidth, a free domain on yearly and longer cycles, an expert migration and 24/7 support. The table prints the CloudLinux limits: Bronze gets 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 30 entry processes; Silver and Gold get 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 30 or 35 entry processes; every plan has 1,024 IOPS and 50 MB/s I/O. Sites are capped at 1, 100 and unlimited, storage at 30, 50 and 100 GB.
The same table prints two different uptime guarantees: 99.5 percent on Bronze and 99.99 percent on Silver and Gold. The terms, read the same day, say Verpex will endeavour to provide 99.9 percent and promise a price adjustment only if a service is suspended for more than 24 hours in a week. There is no credit schedule.

The plan page shows the regular price in its table ($6, $10 and $15 a month) and loads the sale prices in the browser from Verpex’s checkout system. We read that source directly on 14 October 2026. It sells three cycles per plan with a regular price and a new-customer price: monthly ($6, $9.99 and $14.90, discounted to $0.60, $1.00 and $1.49 for the first month), 12 months ($72, $120 and $180, discounted to $36, $60 and $108) and 36 months ($215.55, $360 and $540, discounted to $97, $162 and $270). The discount is marked for new customers only, once per customer, and does not recur, so the second term costs the regular price.
Three-year cost on the entry plan
| Route | Years 1 to 3 |
|---|---|
| 12 months, renewed twice | $36 + $72 + $72 = $180 |
| 36 months up front | $97 (renews at $215.55 for the next three years) |
| Month to month | $0.60 + $6 × 35 = $210.60 |
The three-year cycle is the cheapest way to hold any Verpex plan for three years, and it keeps the free domain.
How do refunds work?
The terms and conditions of service, under “No-Quibble Money-Back Guarantee”, give 30 days on hosting products for a change of mind, once per customer and on the first term only; domains, servers and some third-party products such as Microsoft 365 licences are excluded, and the plan page adds that licence add-ons are final. Outside that window, prepaid months are not refunded if you cancel early, because the discounts are the price of the prepayment. Refunds are processed within seven working days.
Cancellation is through the client area by 23:59 GMT on the day before the renewal date, or by support ticket at least 24 hours before. Renewals are charged at the prevailing rate; the terms say that in most cases a change to the website price for new customers does not affect existing customers.
What is the infrastructure?
LiteSpeed on NVMe with CloudLinux account isolation, per the plan page, which lists nine locations: Dallas, New York, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Frankfurt, Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney. The about page says Verpex hosts over 300,000 websites across those nine locations for customers in 181 countries, added seven of the locations in 2020, and runs offices in the UK, Indonesia and Bulgaria with a support centre in Lagos. Verpex does not say on these pages whether it owns the facilities or rents capacity in them. A public status page at status.verpex.com lists the hosting, email and infrastructure components without a published uptime history.
How fast and reliable is it?
TechRadar’s review by Ruby P. Jane, published on 21 July 2023, reports a GTmetrix run with a 98 percent grade, a first contentful paint of 802 ms, a speed index of 1.1 s, a full load of 2.0 s and a time to first byte of 49 ms, and 100 percent uptime on uptime.com. The page states no plan, server location, test location or monitoring window, and the plan prices it quotes belong to a line-up Verpex no longer sells, so the figures describe an older platform.
HostScore’s review, updated on 14 October 2026, scores Verpex 80.0 percent, says its monitoring kept the shared servers online more than 99.95 percent of the time and that optimized WordPress sites loaded in under a second, without a window, interval or location. We found no WPBeginner, Cybernews, HostingStep or Kripesh Adwani review of Verpex.
Read together: nothing that counts as a measurement of the 2026 platform. The stack is the same combination that produces good results at hosts we do have data for, and the plan table’s resource limits are above the budget norm, but that is a description, not a result.
How good is the support?
Verpex offers 24/7 live chat, email and tickets, and its FAQ says it aims to answer tickets within minutes; there is no phone line. The terms promise a response to any complaint within 28 days. HostScore says chat replies arrived within minutes in its testing and describes the team as able to migrate sites and restore backups, while one user submission on the same page complains of multi-hour waits after the first reply; the page counts 60 positive and 5 negative submissions. We have not timed tickets ourselves and will add real ones to the support table on this page.
Who owns Verpex, and where is it?
The terms name Verpex Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (number 11878098) at 87 North Road, Poole, Dorset. The company details page says Verpex is part of World Host Group, names a sister company, WHG Hosting Services Ltd, as the ICANN-accredited registrar, and lists three directors; World Host Group is the same owner that holds Hosting.com, the former A2 Hosting, which we also review. The about page calls Verpex privately owned, founded in 2018 and launched in 2019 by founders who had sold their earlier hosting businesses to GoDaddy, with more than 50 employees in five countries, 20,000 active clients by the end of 2022 and three brand acquisitions that year.
What is missing or unclear?
- Any independent measurement of the current platform: uptime, response time or load.
- Which uptime promise applies: 99.5 or 99.99 percent per tier on the plan page, or 99.9 percent in the terms, and what remedy, if any, follows a miss.
- Whether Verpex owns or rents its nine locations.
- Whether a CDN or staging is included; neither is listed.
- HostIdea’s own monitoring, support timing and load testing have not started.
Who should choose Verpex, and who should wait?
Choose it if your visitors are in Canada, Mexico, Europe, India, Southeast Asia or Australia and you want a cheap cPanel plan with a local server, daily backups, a free domain and a migration done for you. Silver on the 36-month cycle is the plan to buy: 100 sites, 2 GB RAM and 50 GB for $162 over three years.
Wait if you want numbers before you move. HostArmada offers a similar spread of locations with a 45-day refund and a published 365-day uptime record; FastComet publishes independent measurements and 30 daily backups; both renew in the same range.
How we scored this review
The scores on this page are provisional, and more so than for hosts with current independent data. Performance credits the LiteSpeed and NVMe stack and one 2023 TTFB figure, discounted for its age and missing method. Uptime sits near the middle because no long independent record exists and the host’s own promises disagree. Features credit the domain, backups, migration, stated resources and nine locations, and deduct for the Bronze allocation and the missing CDN and staging. Value weighs the $6 to $15 renewals against what is included. Support reflects the three channels and reviewer accounts, not timed tickets. Each score will be recomputed when data exists, and the review history on this page will show the change.
